22. Make enough for the two of us!
You are so sweet! Yes, your dinner sounds delicious. I feel so much better that I want to run out and get some wine. How about a Chardonnay or a Chenin Blanc? Or maybe rice wine, to keep with the Japanese theme?

I thought about plum wine too but I thought it might be too much since the pork has a plum sauce.
I'm leaving right now to get it. See you later! :hi:

too prove I am a Prius driver... can I tell you that I have gotten 49 mpg for 250 miles? We are supposed to become obsessed with this - though I haven't yet brought myself to get on to a board for Prius drivers to compare tips and brag per mpg (though, perhaps if I did, I would be bragging about 49 mpg) :D

16. my typical day
Well, I woke around 700 am to my son in my face asking, " Where are my clothes??" Scared the shit out me! x(
Then I take the kids to the bus stop and rush home to get ready for work (I work in hospice)
At 300pm, pick up the kids from the bus.
Come home and kids start their homework. They fight about who has the best pencil.
I fix dinner, clean up, and we watch the Simpsons.
Bedtime!
Kids take baths, brush teeth and I tuck them in.....
Now, it's my time.
:applause:

I'm gonna be without my lifeline for the next week or so. :-( But, perhaps my sweet Italian boyfriend will keep my distracted. LOL

25. Zomby...
I went to Lucky's to buy bread and burger buns and then I backed into this woman who was parked in the lot. Okay, it was my fault. But I tapped her. Seriously, tapped her. How fast did she think I was fucking going in the parking lot?????

She said "You really whacked us". Me: "Lady, if I whacked you, you would be sitting in the parking lot across the street".

So, I called the police and it turns out the responder was someone I knew. He almost laughed at the 'damage'. A scrape, literally, a scrape on a plastic bumper.
:eyes:

Thank you for letting me rant.

29. You're welcome!
Your insurance company would probably deny her claim (if she makes one on your policy) based on what the insurance industry calls a "a causation issue". Or at the very least, she would only get a fraction of what she seeks.

Never admit fault. They pay pros to decide that. B-)

35. Started the day being jolted awake by an earthquake,
the kids slept through it, strangely. They're STILL on winter break til next Monday. Then took said kids bowling for three games, where I managed to somehow throw my hip out and now it hurts to walk. Took kids to lunch at Fresh Choice, came home, spent waaay too much time in the lounge, took a hottub to help my hip, followed by a nice nap, and I just fixed the kids dinner...Plus, tonite the sitter's coming so I can go to my choir rehearsal night.

Full day. :)

39. only a 3.1, admitedly not a big deal, but it was very startling.
http://quake.wr.usgs.gov/recenteqs/Quakes/nc40182398.html

But we live about 3 miles from the epicenter, so it felt MUCH stronger than it was. Helluva way to wake up! I had a thread going about it earlier today and somebody suggested that perhaps the recent deluge of rains we got up here might've effected how it moved in the earth...

hmmmm...interesting theory.

41. I went for a stress test, and some lady was badmouthing anti-Bush
types, and I just sat there quietly and let her carry on her conversation with the couple. Now, I'm an ornery cuss, and I generally have no compunction about correcting misstatements. Apparently, eating properly and exercising is improving my disposition.

44. My last property title exam
was a doozy. First, title vested from a Tax Deed. Then, there was no Quiet Title action to take care of previous interests. Naturally, the originating fee-simple title holders are both deceased, and there's no conclusive probate. Ask me about the service list for the Tax Deed. Go ahead. Yeah, non-existant. Sigh. $6 million dollars worth of property, but too cheap to hire a lawyer. BUT, they damn sure want to close on it in 3 days.

I need a drink.
