I almost broke my neck this morning!
I came home this afternoon and had a splitting headache. I thought I had picked something up from my mother, who has been sick for quite a while. I crashed on the couch and slept until she came home.

I just realized what I think this headache is from...

This morning in choir, we had a sub. So, since he didn't know anything about music, we just talked and stuff. My friend and I were waltzing to some heavy metal on the radio (Possible? Yes, it is.) on the top of these little steps. There are three of them, extending all around the band room.

Towards the end of the song, my friend and I spun. She hit me in the check, which caused me to recoil. I fell back and tried to turn. I landed on the level below, on my neck. Well, the way I landed, I hit my head and neck pretty much equally, and with my full weight. I heard a loud crack, and a stand came crashing down on me and the edge hit me on the other side of my neck. I got up and felt my head for bumps. I didn't really feel any, but I did feel woozy all day. And, my neck kept on cracking, and it was painful to keep it straight up, so i bend it to the side a lot. At the end of my last class, I was assaulted by a headache. A very bad one. It feels like my skull is about to crack open...

Ow.... f---. That hurt! And I'm still in pain.

My friend gave me some aspirin, and I know she didn't do it on purpose. Oh well. Suffer through it....

Go get checked out
Tonight

What you are describing needs attention now.

Check back in later...please...go get checked out.

Don't second-guess about injurioes to the head, neck and/or back.

It's something you can't afford to do...and it's always affordable money-wise when it's an injury like this.

Everything you described, how you fell, the loud crack, woozy, having to hold your head to the side, headache, sleeping, still in pain.

Ice it and hope you get yourself to hospital, sweetie...sounds like you need some med attention
