Woman Arrested For Intentionally Driving Car Into Teacher

CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- A Cape Coral woman faces one charge of aggravated battery for driving her car into a teacher.

Elizabeth Morrison was dropping off children at a bus ramp when a teacher told her she wasn't at the right place to drop them off.

Police say Morrison then slowly drove her car forward and hit another teacher, Pam Brown.

Officials say Brown wasn't hurt.

A Lee County School District spokesman says Brown was helping students with profound physical disabilities off the bus.

Morrison was arrested at her home and taken to the Lee County Jail. She first told police she didn't hit the teacher, then said the teacher ran in front of her car.

Witnesses told police Brown was standing on the bus ramp when the car hit her.
