Kid brag. My daughter's a camera whiz.

My three (ok- ALMOST four) year old took this picture a few minutes ago. It's black and white and grainy because something is very wrong with my camera, but I think she did a REALLY good job. I let her walk around and take pictures with my camera and she's getting extremely good at it! She's also got an excellently positioned photo of my carpet steamer. :rofl: I think I'm going to start an album for her with all the best pictures she takes. She's so cool!

She mostly photographs objects, I was impressed she could do so well with a human subject.

She loves to draw as well, whereas my boys aren't quite so enamored with it.

3. my 5 year old LOVES to take pictures

it took a good year or so for her to stop taking pics that included the tips of her own fingers. It's funny what kids try to capture...the vacuum, the door, a wall, etc. :D

Looks like your daughter has a good eye!

6. I'm thinking I should replace my camera and let her have the old one.

It's not quite working entirely, but it would be sufficient for her purposes (and it was a cheap camera, anyway.)
