So my dad got me addicted to this f*cking game SuDoKu
while we were visiting the folks in Florida. He does his on paper, I found one at Shockwave, and downloaded one for my Palm.

Just thought I'd spread the fucking joy. :P

22. Try to find some that require first and preferably second level
assumptions to complete.

Those are the fun ones...

6. Don't worry. The thrill will pass shortly.
I played it constantly for a few weeks and now I kind of find it boring.

7. Nah...
It involves numbers and I have a math learning disability. Numbers cause me to have panic attacks. I taught myself to read while still a toddler, but anything with numbers just makes me go into a fetal position.

I do like crossword puzzles...

11. The Astraware version
I downloaded the free trial, but I haven't installed it yet because my HotSync software ate itself and I can't find my install disk. :D

14. If your Palm accepts SD cards...
...can you copy the application to the card, and then put it in your SD card slot, in order to move it to your Palm's RAM?

I know you can't do this with all software, but since the one I PMed you about is all just self-contained, I can't imagine that there should be any problems.

16. I'll probably have to do that
It's a long story, but my desktop machine had system problems that took me forever to fix, and some library files got munched in the process. I thought I'd found them all, but some, like the HotSync stuff, pop up from time to time.

Thanks! :)

17. Have you tried Palm support?
http://www.palm.com/us/support, assuming you're in the USA.

I know there are downloads to be found there. Maybe there's something there that you can use...?

18. I'll try that next, thanks!
The short version is that in April, I made a system upgrade to my Mac that ate itself, and trying to install Tiger on top of it turned out to be a major pain in the nethers. 98% of everything on it works fine now, but every once in a while, I have to dig up fresh copies of lib files and other system components to replace ones that got et :D.

I like the fact that it has an "Evil" difficulty level. My dad's book had Easy, Intermediate, Difficult, and Diabolical.

30.  I set one down last night and am going to try again tomorrow---
I needed a day of rest.

I don't like doing them on-line.I prefer paper so I actually made myself some large sized, blank grids and copy the puzzles from the computer.

And this is after only a month.
