Anyone know how to remove rust/hard water stains
from sinks and toilets?

2. It works, most definitely.
Especially for the porcelain. But for the hard water I like this new non-toxic stuff called "LemiShine."

6. Phosphoric acid (read the lable)
Works well, chip or scrape heavy deposits of calcium first. It's a fairly mild acid, but it will still burn eyes and skin. Wear gloves, don't make airborn by scrubbing, just lay it on and walk away. Keep pets out of treated areas.

8. I don't know. Which kind of stains do I have?
They are reddish orange and even pure Clorox won't get rid of them. Are those the hard stains or the soft ones?

11. barkeeps friend or other kind of rust remover - clorox will just "fix"
rust stains. Just be careful not to mix different products.

clr is good too for some kinds of stains.

9. Lots of products remove rust from clothing, bath tubs,
even the sidewalks in front of your house if they get rusty from well water.

I use "The Works" which is a Lysol product, I think.
