1. I haven't tried it myself |
|
But I've been thinking about it. I know several people who have had luck with the program and have kept off the weight they lost. That right there cancels out any lameness as far as I'm concerned. Good luck with it and I'd be interested to know what you end up thinking of it.

a little. If I had enough self control there wouldn't be a problem but as soon as I say I'm going to be good for real this time...I get cravings and cave. I love their frozen meals, and am working on cutting back on portions but still eating 'regular' food for dinner. I've never done the meetings, but was watching points last summer and did pretty well for awhile. Just not long enough to have any good effect!

A couple of times. I lose 15 pounds, get stuck, then gain it back the second I stop paying attention.

and am stuck, but part of that is my own damn fault. anyway, i did it through the online version, since there's only one local ww group & no one really likes the leader. good luck! :)

I lost it two years ago. Great program, stick with it and go to the meetings. I can't stress enough how important it is to go the meetings. If for some reason you don't like the group you meet with, find another one!
After a while it sinks in that this is the way to eat for life. For me, being conscious of what I was eating and paying attention to portions was the trick.
Good luck!

6. My daughter did and lost 60 pounds, but then gave it up, |
|
because she had so much more to lose. Instead she opted for gastric bypass surgery. She then lost 215 pounds within a year. If you are grossly overweight, it takes a long time to lose a lot of weight with Weight Watchers. But if you only need to lose up to 50 pounds, Weight Watchers is the way to go, as I have known some people that have lost that much weight with them. Fortunately, I have never been obese, just a few pounds overweight. But now I have two dogs that I have to walk every night. That works wonders for losing weight because I walk them down a hill and then back up. That hill has knocked quite a few inches off me.
