38. HEADS-UP! Feature on Grace Park in the Sunday NY Times |
|
Grace Park's sweet "Battlestar Galactica" character, Sharon, nicknamed Boomer, was eventually revealed as a homicidal Cylon android. The Angel Is an Assassin By KATE AURTHUR Published: January 8, 2006
...
Grace Park, who plays Sharon, didn't notice the miniseries' gasp-inducing twist when she first auditioned for the flashier part of Starbuck. Sharon, she said, seemed like "the best friend you don't put too much weight on, a good person, kind of sad." After being offered that role, however, and rereading the teleplay, it hit her. Talking to Ronald D. Moore, who developed the remake of the 1970's show, "I said, 'You changed her to a Cylon!'" Ms. Park said, recalling her excitement. I'm in love...

Will there be a combined Season 2 release? Or will I have to pick up 2.0 and 2.5 seperatly? And any ideas on the price with the combined Season 2 (if even available) versus buying the two halfs seperatly.

....that I won't be able to sit down for a week.
I don't know who was the most ruthless: Cain, Adama, or Roslin.
I haven't been that shocked by Roslin since her "Now blow that thing out of the airlock" comment about Boomer 2.0.

And I think that Cain is underestimating Roslin's "soft power" -- sometimes people who don't actively practice being an asshole certainly know how to be an asshole.

Best. TV. Shows. EVAR!!
SPOILER FOLLOWS...
Anyhoo, please note that Adama's and Cain's plan to execute each other was exactly the same plan the Cylon's tried when attempting to execute Adama at the end of the first season (i.e., using Boomer 1.0 as sleeper agent).
Brilliant.

26. Good point *Spoiler Reply* |
|
That probably shows a major Cylon weakness. They are too ingrained/programmed to standard Colonial tactics. Their weak spot may be un-orthodox tactics by the remaining Colonial ships.
Also expect to see Caprica again before the end of Season 2.5.

I do not think it is Thrace holding the gun at the last preview scene. I bet it is Lee or even Cain's first officer.

I agree, and upon review of the preview of ressurection part 2, in super slo-mo tivo.... Here is another spoiler in white on white text :) Use your mouse to select from here --->
It's a woman with torture marks on her wrist if you look closely, aiming the gun at caine, so I'm pretty sure its "Gina" the copy of 6 that caine had tortured. < to here to here < to reveal the spoiler ;)

Why bastardize an old one?
Just change the names and voila. No fuss. No muss. Everything's a copycat of everything else so there can be no silly lawsuits. (hell, whoever did the space effects obviously was a fan of Firefly...)
