1. Absolutely.
"Look at him. Half Iago, half Fu Manchu, all bastard."

Amazon says the first season will be released on DVD in North America next week!
Of course, if you have a region-free player, you can import all three seasons, as well as Dylan Moran's brilliant stand-up special, "Monster".

6. Do you know this Bailey site?

It's got the Bewilderness set, recorded in New York:

as well as a lot of other assorted goodness.

Personally, I love Bailey's musical stuff best. Favorites are probably:

Beautiful Ladies (in honour of Chris de Burgh)

and Tom Waits performs Three Blind Mice

Graham Linehan (who wrote the first series of Black Books & co-wrote Father Ted, plus had a hand in some of the great 90's comedy series') has got a new series starting very, very soon over here called "The I.T. Crowd". It was shot in front of an audience (yeah!) and stars Richard Ayoade, who was in a series you'd probably like if you can find it - Garth Marenghi's Darkplace*. It also features Chris Morris, whom I still hold in the highest esteem despite Nathan Barley being utter pants.

*allegedly this is the first episode:

9. They used to have a sitcom over in the UK called Black Books
One of the funniest shows I've ever seen. Their stand-up comedy is also really great.
