what's the longest you've ever gone without DU?

1. The longest I've gone without DU happened last summer.....

A little over three weeks.......It was HELL! Esp. the first few days before the sightseeing really got going.....

It was horrible! :scared:


I plan on having a laptop next big trip, so I can stay connected to the folks at DU!

4. We took a tour into the eastern Mediteranean.....

Sicily, Malta, Libya, Cypress, Turkey, and Greece....

It was a fabulous trip.....hot, though!

Id love to visit there. Cruising the Greek Isles on a sailboat is a dream life for me.

We were not, however, in a sailboat.....More like a small cruise ship...or a big yacht....

Just don't go in the late spring or early summer....temps and humidity in the 100's!

I have NEVER sweated like that, before, or since!

In fact, I am not entirely sure...neither is my husband.

But, since we were on a cruise ship, and there was internet access even out at sea....

It must have been via satellite.

I did not use it....

When I first got here, I posted mostly in GD, and I had that GD attitude about the Lounge. :blush: Then I got into a thread that really pissed me off and I decided I didn't want to associate with people like that, so I bailed. But the political scene started heating up, so I came back about last September and started checkin' out the Lounge.

I'm still deciding whether I'm gonna stay.

I was vacationing at my parents' house, and not only were the kids and I busy doing fun summer activities (the beach, the pool, the park, cookouts, shopping, visiting), Mom and Dad have dial-up, which made my limited computer time even more difficult.

when I went to DC for the march. Well, maybe not three whole days. I'm sure I checked in when I got back on Sunday. Or, maybe it was when we went to NY last June for my cousin's wedding from Thursday through Sunday. So far, never more than that.
