Sears is on my list now- I will never shop there again-RANT

If any of you remember my rant about getting a shirt for christmas that I would never wear, the agony continues.
Today I go back to return it. The clerk couldn't get the gift receipt to scan so she said "we will just do it like a return without receipt". Oh, the shirt is on clearance so your refund will be 3.49. I thought to myself, gee Mom sure was cheap this year. I drove the 40 miles home from Sears and decided to call mom and ask her if that was the price. Oh no, I paid 25 dollars for the shirt.
I called the store manager and asked about getting the full refund- he said I had to have the gift receipt. I told him the clerk kept it. "Oh no, we never keep receipts" or in other words - you are shit out of luck. So now the Sears/Kmart corporation will never get another dime from me.

On the bright side- I think my Mom might realize that she shouldn't buy clothing for me.

I just hate to see that money pissed away. I really wish the holiday season didn't revolve around the gift giving bullshit that it has become.

3. I haven't bought anything from Sears in 40 years!

I think they invented bait and switch. At any rate, they never seem to have advertised specials in stock when I tried to buy them. I recently tried to order something on line (I figured I would give them another chance) and they informed me they did not have it in stock at this time.
