OMG, I just had the hardest time breathing!
Yikes! I started coughing (freakin' allergies), and suddenly I couldn't catch my breath! Had to grab my inhaler, which I haven't had to use in over a month. Breathing a bit better now, but I still feel kind of weird. Damn, that was scary! :scared:

I guess I won't be cleaning my office this evening as I had planned! Still trying to get the breathing and heartbeat settled down, but it's getting better. :loveya:

No worries, my dear!
Forget your office...You are waaaaay more important!

You'll be OK.....just give it time. Plus your blood is full of adrenaline and this takes awhile to metabolize...

8. OMG SeattleGirl.
Glad you have an inhaler. Do you use a daily inhaler? I think I might have to start using one. Not being able to breathe right is scary.

Haven't had to since early December. Crikey, but this stinks!

9. Slow, deep breaths
Inhale and hold for a count of 10, then exhale.

I'll get the video camera.

Hmmm... what kind of pigscum am I, taking advantage of a lovely woman's respiratory malaise for my own sick, prurient interests?

33. I'm confused
If you don't have asthma, why would you be using an inhaler, as you did last month? You said "your inhaler," not your daughters. Why would a doctor have prescribed it if you don't have asthma.

34. Because I had a really bad case of bronchitis in late November
and the inhaler helped a lot. And again, I don't know if I asthma, but given what I just went through, I am going to ask my doc to check to see if I do.

Have you been sick at all lately? I mean, beyong allergies? I just got over pneumonia and I remember all too vividly the feeling of suffocation. Absolutely terrifying.

Take care of yourself, SeattleGirl - here's hoping it was just some sort of fluke.
