I damned near lived on the stuff in grad school. It was its own food group.

6. Far too long

For most of my childhood, I did not appreciate the wonderful taste of the Mountain Dew. At some point in late high school my eyes were opened, and I've had a joyous time ever since. (Actually, I might be better off if I had never learned to love the stuff, considering all the sugar and caffeine in it, but it's really the taste that got me hooked. And it's a great alternative if you don't like coffee and need to do some all-night cramming.)
