Question about tombstoned members

Sorry if this is a verboten question, but some people get tombstoned and all their posts get erased, while other people get tombstoned and their posts remain.

Why is this? :shrug:

if they have the time to do so. Also the obvious trolls generally get thier stuff deleted so they can't slink back to wherever the hell they came from and point out thier handiwork.

But let's also keep in mind that not everyone who has been TS'd is a troll, and many were contributing members to DU and to our party. Re: Kathy and Dookus, and I'm sure many more.

14. The mods have to manually remove each individual post.

If the person was a n00b who had only posted like 20 posts, that's easy to do. But if the person was a old-timer with over 10,000 posts (god rest ye, Kathy and Dookus :cry: ) then it's not so easy to erase all traces--nor should all traces be erased. Most old timers were liberals who crossed a boundary or two.

Now, I won't say any more about what I think about the tombstoning of some of my fave DUers. :cry:
