Ok i was having a good day....then tonight I wrecked my Jeep
Went out to pick up a pizza was just a street away
from home the road into my development was solid
ice. I was slowing down for a stop sign at the intersection and lost control I was all over the road and finally ended up in some guys front yard
I hit the lamp-post and then his retaining wall in
his front yard.
He came running out barefoot jumped in my backseat
and started to yell at me for hitting his landscaping wall. I thought to my self....this
guys a jack-ass dont ask us how we are. Worry about your f_ _ _en wall.
I was so thankful my airbag did'nt open. I am
so fearful of it. I've seen people with broken
noses and such from airbags.
Anyway heres a picture of the damage.

1. Well, I'm glad you're ok. But what an asshole!
Can't he at least make sure you're fine before getting all pissed off? It's not like you intended to hit his precious retaining wall.

4. The damage doesn't look too bad
Except for the mirror. I did a temp fix on one with a steel strip as a splint and duct tape. It held.

But, how are you?

5. Glad you're ok. What in hades was he doing getting inside your
vehicle? Aside from obviously loathing his attitude, I have a real problem with him climbing in.

6. Glad you are okay!
I slid on black ice on an interstate last winter and totalled my car... it is a scary, helpless feeling.

I resolved never again to drive on ice. Ever.

And fuck that asshole. That is what insurance is for.

Airbags can cause burns too. Not fun. Glad you didn't experience that.

Please relax and give yourself time to rest. Accidents can cause more mental trauma than physical most times.

yes I do still feel a little shaky. Im so thankful
the airbag did'nt open...im sure I would of freaked out. I guess it did'nt because it was
my door that got slammed.
I dont weigh alot and I think the airbag would
of hurt me worse.

15. OH NO!
I'm so relieved that you're alright. Your car can be fixed and I imagine this yuppie dink has a meaningless little life (if he's so concerned about a friggin' wall!!).

The only thing of real value was undammaged and got to eat pizza.

Yes Im ok. To bad I told the truth to the cop
that I was'nt wearing a seatbelt. Im going to
have to pay a heavty fine now.
I was'nt sited for failure to control the road
was just to icy. The cop had all he could do
to get me back to my Jeep without both of us
on our ass. Hes was super nice to me.

Your Liberty doesn't look as bad as you think it is, either. That's an easy fix.

Do you own a Triumph, too?

But probably still expensive.

I did something dumb in one of my vehicles once. It was new at the time so I was completely mortified. I was backing out of a driveway where I lived and hit something- part of a skateboard ramp or something. I didn't see it but it broke one of the lights on the front (the part where the blinker is). From then one until I got rid of the truck, I drove with it held together with duct tape. I have no idea how I avoided a ticket but I was too embarrassed to take it in and have it fixed.

19. Now, now . . .
Don't let a little one-car wreck off of the ice and an idiot affect you.

It happens.

I'm glad you are not injured. :)
