3. Valentine's Day 1956, according to mom
And born about five weeks early on October 4.
June 17, 2006 is FUNDAY here in Saginaw, Michigan. My best buddy, Mike B is turning fifty that day -- so we already have a birthday to celebrate (actually two -- it's Polly (my SO)'s daughter's birthday too, yeah). But I guess we could find another cake for a conception day party, too.
John
It is now 159 days, nine hours and five minutes to FUNDAY. The beer is free, too (well, free to y'all -- I buy three kegs...after that you're on your own).

5. My due date was Christmas, 1943........
But I arrived early, right after Thanksgiving! I just KNOW I didn't want to be born on Christmas....

So I was most likely conceived in March, probably late March.....

In a Murphy bed, in upstate New York.....

I was supposed to be a boy, BTW......

8. Well, yes, I have thought this one over, for many years!
The circumstances surrounding my birth have intrigued me and my parents all my life.....

I fully understand what you mean about you're being glad I'm not a boy!

You share those feelings with a number of people in my family: my husband, and my daughters!

I am also glad I was born female....I enjoy my role in life a great deal...

16. I don't know the exact date
But I do know that it was around Christmas. My grandparents had gone to visit relatives for Christmas and the surrounding days and thought that my mother, being nearly 17, was mature enough to be left home during that time. Needless to say she her boyfriend (soon to be my dad) got together, had some , and 9 months later there I was.

18. What was it like having parents that young?
I had just the opposite thing — my folks were 44 and 45 when I came along.

If I hadn't been adopted, my mom would've been 17 and single.

21. My mom and I had a lot of rough times
She was young and inexperienced, and I'll admit I was not the easiest kid to deal with. It made for a difficult combination. She and my dad, unbeknownst to me, got divorced when I was three, and the guy I thought was my dad was actually my step dad. I didn't find this out until I was nine, and then it was by accident. I never even met my dad until I was 10, and then only saw him twice during my teen years as he lived so far away. My step-dad was an alcoholic and they ended up getting divorced by the time I was 10. Then my mom had three kids to support by herself at the age of 27, which is, I'm sure, not the life she'd envisioned for herself all those years ago.

19. Hi johnnie!
Sometimes the date of conception can be pinpointed pretty precisely.....

I knew when I conceived my girls.....but I had a very regular cycle.

Maybe your mom did have a regular cycle too......I can bet it would be hard to ask her, though!

If you still have her, of course.....
