Poll question: Favorite Dukes from Hazzard (the tv show) |
|
Edited on Sun Jan-08-06 10:05 AM by DanCa
I used to love this show as a kid. The car wrecks, the liberal good dukes always winning out against boss hog, and Daisy short shorts and Waylon Jennings. The movie fell short from capturering lightning twice. So who's your favorite Duke? And how do you think would win in a fight Luke Duke or Bo? I pick Tom Wopat he was the only male role model I had growing up. So all's I got to say is Keep it between the ditches and ten four good buddies. Gitche gitchie I'm gone I'm gone.

2. I voted for Uncle Jesse as my favorite Duke, but Roscoe P. |
|
Coltrane was my favorite character.
Still my favorite show of all-time! Do Boss and Roscoe remind you of any other crooked politicians? Cheaney reminds me of an evil Boss Hogg, while the snickering murderer W reminds me of an evil Roscoe.

3. I forgot to add that I think Luke would win in a fight. According |
|
to the show, Luke did some boxing when he was in the marines. Also, Luke fought a boxing match in one episode of the show. Still, Bo was the better driver and got more girls.

4. The movie didn't do a thing for me. Just saw it a couple nights ago and |
|
I was shocked at how they had rewritten every single character. The only ones that came close were Daisy and Cooter. Willie would have been a great uncle Jessie if they had given him something to work with.
Well, to give credit where credit is due, though.. the soundtrack rocked!

On the basis of the most venial attitude possible.
I think that a fight between Bo and Luke would have to be ended by Uncle Jesse, they were both very good at fighting.
I haven't seen the film - and neither will I.

When I was a kid, I watched the TV show, and even at that tender age I knew that Daisy was hot. Now, is she hotter that Jessica Simpson in Daisy Duke shorts? I'll have to get back to you on that.
