1. Does Milpool have Soft-Paws?
Is that what the pink things are on his fingernails?

(Both of your kitties are beautiful. )

2. they both do.
Millie's are pink to match her complexion, and they're easier to see when they fall off.

Holly's are clear, because she doesn't like the coloured ones. She told me so.

4. Did you put them on,
or did you have their doctor do it? The Wiley and Excellent Cat Named Ginger doesn't scratch (much), but my sister-in-law has a kitty who's a helluva slapper and "stretchy scratcher."

6. I do it.
It was easier with two people (when I was married), but I've since learned to do it myself. They don't mind, but Holly gets squirmy if I have to do more than three at a time.

They know they get treats after getting their nails done, so they're at the point that when they hear me get the SoftPaws out of the cupboard, they come running :)

11. This is my sister-in-law's cat, Barley.
(He's Ginger's brother). He's the one who needs the Soft-Paws. Badly. I'll order Barley some Soft-Paws for his birthday.

22. Barley looks like he's one funny cat
In the first pic, he looks like he'd rip your eyes out, given the chance. In the second one, he looks kind of goofy.
Is he as funny as he looks?

29. He's extremely goofy.
In the winter, when the fish in our pond go to the bottom to sleep and a layer of ice forms on top, Barley turns it into his own tail-chasing ice-capades skating rink. Yeah, he's a dork, but that's OK: he's the brother of our Wiley and Excellent Boy Cat Named Ginger and we love him.

couldn't get the cats calm enough to put them on :(

Did you apply them yourself?

8. Have one person...
hold them in their arms, on their backs. Scratch their necks.

The other person clips the claws first, then glues each softpaw on.

That's the fastest, least painful way.

The cats get used to them.

30. Soft Paws
are vinyl nail caps that can be applied to a cat's claws so that no damage occurs when the cat scratches stuff. And Soft Paws are humane, unlike to horrible practice of declawing. There are Soft Paws for dogs, too.

My little daughter will flip when she sees the Milpool shot. She has a thing for kitties that show their white bellies (we've got one, as well as two non-white bellied kitties).

edited for wrong spelling of Milpool.

We don't have central air but, we have window units in the living room and bedroom windows. The fans circulate the cool air through the house.
