I haven't checked it out in a while, but a few weeks ago I saw one of my favorite Meredith Baxter flip-out movies was on so I watched. What came on after it was one of the funniest things ever. It was a new one about promiscuous teens and at some point a girl tells her mom--who's a "cool friend-mom" as opposed to a rules and grounding mom--in response to the "honey, you can tell me anything line:"

"I have SYPHILIS MOM! Can I tell you that? Can I just walk up and say Hi Mom! I have syphilis!"

39. That's the one I was watching! And I'll watch it every time it's on too.

I find her bulldog-esque wrinkles and emotional performance mesmerizing. Plus, it's a two-parter so if I'm having a day on Couch Island and it's on then I'm set in the entertainment department. Judith Light's got nothin' on a batshit crazy Meredith Baxter, and she's a pretty good crazy too.

I feel the same way about many of your posts too. From now on, I'll try to at least say hi or give the old thumbs up because--well I enjoy talking with you, that's why.

Where do you live again? For some reason I want to say Ohio but that doesn't seem right at all. Also, sorry for the lag-time in responding. I got all wrapped up in video games and this Rick Schroeder Lifetime Movie (thought I'd check in with them in case there was a good one I could report back on. It wasn't very noteworthy, unfortunately).

I LOVE that "Hell Hath no Fury" couldn't be covered in 2 hours but was made into 2 movies! And no cussing allowed! How'd they do it! Also, I read, "Small Sacrifices" 18 or so times and saw the movie at least a dozen. Where'd they get Farrah Fawcett out of Dianne Downs? *disgusted shake of head* Well, at LEAST FF was fascinating enough, I suppose.
