1. William Byrd - Mass for 5 voices.
Gorgeous piece, written under some of the most fascinating circumstances (recusant under Elizabeth I, yet still a court favourite).

tearing through the house chasing each other. They've been so goofy the last few days.

Other than that, the quiet.

In Sound From Way Out

Only instrumental. I was shocked at how good it is.

I think it's out of print.

11. Excellent!
And I'm not a BB fan. My brother had it on his IPod. He is a great jazz sax player and needless to say I was shocked to see it. He just smiled and put the headphones on me. I ordered it from Alibris the next day.

26. Just had to show you this:
I'm interested in hearing a couple tracks from this album, so I went to Amazon. There weren't any tracks to listen to but there were really good reviews........except for one. He wrote:

"It's a shame that the Beastie Boys stole the cover art and title of Perrey & Kingsley's great album, because, unlike their music, the Beastie Boys is complete and utter trash. I would rather have my genitals nailed to a fan than listen to the Beastie Boys for ten minutes, and that's no lie."

I thought that was funny. Wrong, probably, but funny.

Ian Mackaye (of Minor Threat/Fugazi) and his wife playing relatively mellow indie rock (or whatever the fuck you'd call it). Good stuff.

21. Me too (re: 80s kick)
I think it's 'cuz I just turned 40 (literally yesterday). You kind of look back to your youth, I guess. My son is starting to roll his eyes and say: "Oh, great. More 80s music..." I don't want to be like the mom in that song "1985," so I'd better not get too carried away... :hi:
