What do you consider comfort food?
Here in the south, most people consider fried chicken, mashed taters, macaroni and cheese, greens, cornbread, and cobbler as comfort food. Mmmmm!!

I remember having potato salad sandwiches for lunch during high school. The guy at the local deli had sympathy for me not having money. Charged me 20 cents for a sandwich, back in 1963-4. :donut: :)

fried okra-onions-and-green tomatoes, Granny's fried chicken and mashed potatoes, blackberry cobbler and vanilla ice cream, and my dad's hippie-dippie whole grain carob chip cookies. :thumbsup: Lawdy, how I miss my family and how good they cook. :cry:
