Earthquake
Just now. Real quick one.

I'm guessing 3.2.

Central California, about 20 miles inland from the coast.

3. Yeah, well, as you may remember, we just had one last week
that I could've SWORN was much bigger than it actually was...probably b/c we were within 2 miles of the epicenter. It also was a 3.2, btw. Like you, I've been through many, many many little quakes over the years and am usually pretty good at pegging them, so last week's threw me a bit.

You were right on today, my friend!

I guess it's good the little ones are helping to release pressure, right?
:)

Beautiful day today in CA, don't cha think?
:hi:

5. Mother Nature's two-stroke engine
with compression release.

Yeah, it's freakin' gorgeous out there. I think I may actually get my butt outa this chair and go out in it for awhile. The lawn might be dry enough to mow.

6. Peggy, I didn't realize you were that close
to a fault system. But I just checked, and you're within a few miles of the Santa Monica, Malibu Coast and Palos Verdes faults.

Have a nice day.

7. Oh yes, the LA basin is just RIDDLED with faults!
I refuse to worry, darling! I have NO control over these things.....

No sense worrying about something like that.....

I've lived here since Dec. 1968, and haven't had anything fall down around me yet!

You have a nice day, too! Sweetie!
