...a keen intellect and a warm heart will keep me forever. But confidence is very hot.

5. Shit. I have to CHOOSE? |
|
I like the brains, the wit, the talent (musicians are a huge bonus), the kindness... Sadly, all four do not seem to exist in high school males. Looks, maybe, but not much o' the personality. Damn it. :D :P :D

7. Personally, I find Confidence extremely sexy |
|
I'm talking positive self-esteem, NOT arrogance and bravado.
To me, Confidence includes being willing to be fully authentic and in touch with one's personal power.

A sense of humor is nice, but not really my first priority. You didn't mention idealism, but that's an important thing for me.

20. For me individually (not for everyone) being extremely bright (but not in |
|
a nerdy way--in an eclectic way) and having mischievous, wicked glints in his eyes. A clever way with words is an added bonus, as is a sweet smile.
In my opinion, being kind and trustworthy is simply the minimum requirement for being a fully realized human being. The qualities of kindness and trustworthyness are necessary but not sufficient questions for attraction.
Not relevant: weight (within reason), presence or lack of hair, car, job title (but must have some job), educational level (as long as he thinks and reads), wealth (but must have some income).

Intelligence, great sense of humor, thoughtful and caring, easy to talk to, approachable, engaging, self-assured. If he has the ability to laugh at himself, I'm completely charmed.
Oh, yeah. Hands. Scent. (Not cologne. They just smell good.) Naughty twinkle in the eyes.

|
Kind and sincere is nice, but only really good when grouped with confidence.
I'm not talking about cockiness - last thing we need is another Bill O'Reilly.
But DU women (and Gay men) can't tell me you don't find a guy who knows what he wants, is direct and confident attractive - kindness and sincere usually follows true confidence.

32. I don't think Bill O'Reilly is that confidant in himself |
|
I think he has a lot of insecurities which Randi Rhodes pointed out in his dirty writings. Anyone who feels he has to control other people and can't take criticism is filled with insecure thoughts and self doubt.
I have seen a lot of shy men who are shy but have a very high self worth.

Then I realize: confidence. I suck when it comes to confidence. That explains a lot.

37. Funny. A leading cause of divorce is over MONEY |
|
and it sure ain't because there's too much money, so that makes me wonder if women say one thing before going into a marriage and then reality sets in, couple of kids and the guy can't get it together and women say to themselves "This is not working out." This happened to me. My first husband had lots of attractive qualities at the time I married him, but I soon got tired of working my butt off and seeing him just drift. The day our electricity got turned off in a cold November (due to his not paying the bill)and I could not find him at his office or anywhere else, was when I decided that enough was enough.

I find a brain very sexy but ONLY if accompanied by a good sense of humour. One without the other does NOT work.
