I Like Dennis Weaver
I'm watching "Gunsmoke" 50th Anniversary DVD and listening to Dennis Weaver do commentary. It's an episode where "Chester" discovers a well on property he bought and all the people from miles around coming to get barrels of water from this well--and Weaver suddenly says, "It's a lesson we all can learn today. We are fast running out of water--we are greedy..." and goes on about how we need to conserve water and our national resources on this DVD. What a surprise, but I understand that Weaver is a good liberal, too.

1. I love Dennis Weaver. I heard him speak a couple times in LA.
He really would make an EXCELLENT Senator.

3. I seem to remember that I saw a TV program that showed
that his house was made of recycled rubber from automobile tires.

Another remembrance is from a joke, and the final line was when Chester said to Miss Kitty,
" The whole shovel full?"

Does anyone remember the joke, or was it a regional thing?

Chester was shoveling horse shit in the stable...Miss kitty came in and pulled up her dress and told him to put it in there or something like that....

7. My favorite is in "Duel" the first film directed by Steven Spielberg
where the faceless truck driver tries to kill him. Very tense film.

10. He is one of the gone ones!
and yes he used all sorts of stuff (recycled) to build his home.

As usual Liberals are way ahead of their time.
