Concerning 'The Daily Show' - How do these people not know it's a put-on? |
|
Seriously, they just had Mark Crispin Miller on there being interviewed by Ed Helms and he reacted like it was a serious interview. How can these people not know? It's only a extremely popular T.V. show. Do they not tell people they are from the Daily Show before hand? The interviews don't look scripted. Surely some of these people are "in on it".

1. He mentioned that he would be on TDS on his blog |
|
I'm guessing he was in on it because I'm guessing he wouldn't promote his appearance if they intentionally made him look like a fool http://markcrispinmiller.blogspot.com/

And I keep forgetting what the consensus has been, or even if it was ever reached.

Either they're really stupid, or they're really good actors.
Even if YOU didn't know what the show was, surely you'd mention that you're going to be on a TV show called "The Daily Show" to someone who knew.

That the first time I saw TDS I was on acid, and ever since it's tainted my interpretation of the show.

8. The first time I saw A Clockwork Orange, I was sober.... |
|
...the next time I watched it, I was on acid. It certainly changed my perception of the movie. That was many moons ago, but I still like my "acid" version better.
