Job-related torture

I work at a law school and the director has deemed the Alito hearings important enough to broadcast it in the lobby. I'm currently working mere feet from the TV. But it's around a corner so I can't see it. And there are lots of people and background noise that I can't hear it.

So close, yet so far away. :cry:
