If you take more than the RDA, you will get really bad hives and flushing--it's like a major sunburn ALL over your body. It goes away after about 45 minutes, but I have to tell you---I never had hives until I took Niacin to pass a drug test. I took more than I should have (one pill instead of 1/2) and got the rash/flush/sunburn. It went away, but ever since then, I've been plagued with intermittent hives....that was 10 years ago.
Also also---you don't need niacin to flush your body out. What you need to do is drink about a gallon of water every hour before your test. Get some B12 pills and take 1 or 2 of those. The water will flush out your system (dilute your urine, actually), and the B-12 will turn your urine a bright yellow. I'd say take 1 pill because 2 generally turns it very unnaturally flourecent. Also, take an asprin before your test. I don't know what this does, but it works--hubby had to take a drug screen for his job, and we couldn't find herbals here. Online, found the water + B12 + asprin thing, did it, and took an at-home drug test to see if it worked--it did. The key is to dilute your urine. That's what the herbal teas do--the herbs in them have nothing to do with passing the drug test. THat's why they have you brew the tea bags in 2 gallons of water and drink the 'tea' over the span of 2-4 hours. IT's a diluting agent that can be achieved without the cost and without the awful flavour of the tea.
However---be careful---my husband DID pass his initial drug test, but was called in 3 days later to take another one because the sample of his urine was so dilute from all the water...so that could be a drawback to using ANY dilutory solution.
As it stands (and I'm an LPN/nursing student/stoner who has done ALOT of research on this), aside from either diluting your own urine, or using someone else's urine, there is NO way to mask the THC in your urine using any herb, pill, or solution. The THC metabolizes and stores itself in your fat cells, which are broken down by the body and excreted in urine. There's no way to prevent this other than dilution.

As far as the Hep B/C test---why would they be doing this? What kind of job are you getting> SHit--even being a nurse, I've only had to prove that I've had the HepB vaccine series....I've never been tested to see if I actually have the disease (or any other disease) in pre-employment screening. I do not see how that could be legal unless you were getting into a job where you were sharing YOUR body fluids with another person. In fact, I'm quite sure that a company CANNOT test you for ANY disease, HIV included. Nurses aren't even tested for HIV.
