Sorry, couldn't resist - I really despise the modern habit of saying "we're pregnant" as if they've both got a fetus growing inside them. Makes no sense - "we're going to have a baby" - sure. That I can see. But Brad's not pregnant unless there's been some major medical miracle here and until a man gets to experience that unique form of hell on earth, I refuse to use that phraseology.

I heard someone on TV this morning, saying it seems Brad wants a big family, and obviously Angelina has no issues with kids, is this why he dumped Jen?

10. I personally think that Brad claimed Jen "didn't want kids" to hurt her,

and her reputation in the hyper-misogynist Hollywood media that is pushing a nasty "mothers are everything, child-free women are NOTHING" message and has been for half a decade now. Jen denies that she ever said she didn't want kids with Brad, or with anyone. In her words, "I did, and I do, and I will (have children)." I've read blog rumors that Brad wanted to end the break-up on a particularly nasty note because, of all things, political and ideological conflicts between them. Allegedly, he's a liberal Democrat and a Kerry supporter; Jen's ambivalent about governmental (and social) issues, but has said that she is a Republican and generally "liked" the Bush Administration (although she did supposedly once say she thought Bush himself was an idiot). I think what Pitt did was disgusting and malicious, no matter what his motives were, but that's me. I hope his career tanks harder than Cruise's probably will.

If anything, it is mostly, "Well, of course these two beautiful people were going to end up together, and can you imagine the gorgeous baby they will have?" I read somewhere once that the more attractive a person is, the less criticism they are apt to get in life. I wonder how the couple would be accepted if Angelina looked like a troll? I have a feeling in that case she would definitely be attacked as a conniving home wrecker and evil witch.
