3. traffic tickets or any cop car with those lights on behind you is
enough to ruin a day. Even when cops put those lights on to tell you to move to another lane, that's enough. Did you know you ran it or you just weren't paying attention?

39. you know, recently I was at a stoplight, and I see the cop lights behind
me...so, thinking I'm getting pulled over for any one of the various things that were wrong with the car I was driving, I make a right onto the side street so as not to block traffic. Turns out the cop must have just wanted to get through the intersection (while the light was still red, mind you), 'cause he blew through it and turned off the lights as soon as he was through. What the hell? Way to scare the crap out of me for no reason, officer. x(

17. Take the traffic school course ( you can do it online)
It'll cost you some money and time, but the ticket is usually erased from your record and the insurance people can't use the ticket against you. Now, if you have several tickets, then the school doesn't do a bit of good

23. Depends on the state and insurer; in my state some of the
biggest insurers basically don't bother with speeding or other tickets and don't raise the rates. You got a claim, then they bother! A friend of mine has two teenage drivers who basically think vehicles are for demolition derbies. After many tickets the insurer didn't raise the rates. Then the kids started having accidents and then the parents started getting socked with big rate increases.

which totaled over $450.
I also got stopped for going straight in a turning lane but the cop only gave me a warning for that one.

13. I'll bet it won't cost you as much as what I did last week...
...let my car creep forward while waiting to turn right on red, and bumped the back bumper of a Ford Explorer waiting to turn in front of me. :dunce: My car (Honda Accord) suffered no damage...the big-ass Ford Explorer (built Ford tough, don't you know), $522 worth of bodywork! I'm writing them a check... :banghead:

18. Yeah, more angry with myself than anything else, having gone
nearly 10 years without an accident, with the exception of a very scary encounter with a deer jumping out of roadside ditch at night while I was moving around 70 mph (65 mph limit highway). I thought for a split second that I would hit him head on, and ended up clipping him with my driver's side view mirror. After pulling my heart back into my chest, I circled back, looking for the carcass, but there was no sign of a deer anywhere! I guess he sustained minimal injury if any, and just ran off!

I contested the first two in court and got them dismissed since there was no report. I didn't pay the other two so I actually had a bench warrant on me for a while.

29. I got a ticket for running a stop sign in Woodstock, GA.
I didn't see it because it was blocked by a shrub. But the worst thing is that I ran smack into the side of another car. I went to court and my fine was only $40. You are in the Atlanta area, so maybe you will also get off cheaply.

31. I got one last year for the same thing
in bumblefuckegyptnowhere West Georgia.
I came off an exit ramp and was going to turn left. I know I stopped because there was a car coming and I would have run into it had I not, but Officer Asshat still gave me one. They were having a sting operation. They had two other people pulled over at the same intersection, no doubt for the same thing.

Rapidly losing respect for all law enforcement.....

Catwoman runs a stop sign and gets pulled over by a Cop. Being a typical Cat, she thinks she is smarter than the Cop so she decides to have some fun at the Cop’s expense.

Cop says, "License and registration, please."

Catwoman says, "What for?"

Cop says, "You didn't come to a complete stop at the stop sign."

Catwoman says, "I slowed down, and no one was coming."

Cop says, "Exactly! License and registration, please."

Catwoman says, "What's the difference?"

Cop says, "The difference is the law says you have to come to a full and complete stop. License and registration, please!"

Catwoman says, "I’ll make you a deal. If you can show me the legal difference between slowdown and stop, I'll give you my license and registration and you can give me the ticket. If not you let me go and no ticket."

Cop says, "Certainly. Exit your vehicle, sir."

At this point, the Cop takes out his nightstick and starts beating the ever-loving crap out of Catwoman. All the while, the Cop kept saying...

"DO YOU WANT ME TO STOP OR JUST SLOW DOWN?"

On Edit:

I forgot to add
