9. I saw the Corrs have a new traditional Celtic album out
called Home. User reviews are mostly positive, and I'm a big fan, so it's a must have for me. I love Celtic music and it's nice that the Corrs did more of it.

I'll visit again soon.

7. Anything by Hendrix and it always sounds new to me
:-). I love the passion in Janis Joplin's voice and never get tired of listening to her.

I love Joni Mitchell. Her voice is like what I imagine an angel sounds like.

I love the Blues. I haven't been to a Blues concert/show in years, but again, I love the passion in the voices and the music.

Am I stuck in the 60's? I guess so :-)

I didn't begin to cover all the artists I love. I could add Jimmy Buffett, The Clash, The Who, McCartney, CSNY. Also, I didn't include modern R&B on my list - I love Alicia Keys, the late Aaliyah, John Legend.

17. Now to songs
Not going to make a list for this one. I chose "Bridge Over Troubled Water" by S&G as my favorite, but it can change. Kelly Clarkson's "Since U Been Gone" was one of my faves of 2005. Her CD Breakaway is also the best CD by an American Idol contestant so far.

29. Most people think I'm a little odd...
I actually follow Duran Duran around when they come to the West Coast, usually hit them up in San Diego, L.A. and Vegas. I'm like a 14 year old girl in a 32 year old man's body...and I'm straight! Sometimes I don't even understand it, but I love those guys, especially now that they are all back together!

32. I think they sound better than ever .
I have the Live From London Deluxe DVD and I enjoy it every time .I am 25 years old now , I liked their songs when I was little - I was around 4 or 5 when I first paid attention to them but still , I was too young to really know . I rediscovered their talent last summer . I have never seen them in concert before but I really want to . Nobody understands why I like them , I don't even it try to explain it .

34. Exactly...
There's no need to explain it...and if you get the chance, go see them ASAP..they are awesome live and they always play an extensive catalogue, not just new songs but truly a greatest hits show plus some popular b-sides and good new stuff too. I've seen them about 20 times and all of them have been great, I just wish I would have seen them back in the 80s too, although I'm older than you, I would have been only like 9-13 for their huge 80s shows...my big brother was not about to take me along because I wasn't cool...oh well, I'm making up for lost time.
And go see The Killers if you can too, they are the closest thing to Duran Duran nowadays, just listen to the bass line on the opening track, Jenny...brilliant!

37. Don't feel guilty
I like Duran Duran quite a bit, too. Their synth isn't the bland kind I sometimes hear in 80s music. I hear Duran Duran in the Killers too, so it's no surprise I also like the Killers. I'd second quite a few of your list's choices.

31. I just discovered Judee Sill
Breathtakingly gorgeous music, and I mean that it literally takes my breath away. I especially recommend her song "The Kiss." Her music is very spiritual, but a quirky, William Blake kind. She made two albums in the early '70s before she died of a heroine overdose. You won't regret anything you get by her.
