I got 'The Laramie Project' today from Netflix |
|
Haven't seen it before. Anything I need to be aware of before I watch it?

very moving. very thought-provoking.
I loved it, but can't testify about the movie. Let me know what you think of it afterwards...

Of what it might make you feel?
I'm prepared for anger and tears, but I don't know how much of either it might evoke. That's why I asked.

I've seen "Boys Don't Cry", which is very graphic and although it was upsetting I've watched it several times. I just never seem to think of "The Laramie Project" when I'm thinking "what should I get at Blockbuster". Maybe I'll get it this weekend now that it's fresh in my mind.

When I was picking movies that time, I got "Memphis Belle," and then there's the "Other films starring Matthew Modine" thing, which included "And The Band Played On." I hadn't seen that in a few years, so I got it. And then pops up "Other films in this genre," which had "The Laramie Project."
Netflix rocks. Helps ya think.

7. That film made me cry. A lot. |
|
So, just be aware, it's worth watching, but you might not walk away traumatized.
