how do I figure out how big an area it is that I am looking at? How many square miles/acers/whatever it is? Sorry if this is dumb but I can't seem to get an answer at mapquest. Do I just have to plug in the destination around the area from road to road and then calculate it from there?

on the entrance to my neighborhood, changing the street that feeds the main road, Mapquest STILL does not see that change, while Rand MacNally has it.
