Damn! I just bought 4 gallons of the WRONG STUFF! |
|
I'm in a cleansing program(drug screen) and need to drink pure cranberry juice. So I stroll into Costco and check all there cranberry products. Cranberry-Grape, Cranberry-Raspberry, Cranberry-Pomegranet...Oh here it is plain Cranberry. Cool. I'll take 4 gallons.
I get it home and realize its Cranberry Cocktail. Mostly water and sweeteners.
That'll teach me to pay attention next time.

I don't think you can buy just pure cranberry juice - nor would you want to drink it. It needs sweeteners.
I spent ten minutes in the store one day trying to find JUST cranberry juice, and no go on that one, and then I had to go through all the bottles again looking for the one without corn syrup.
I happen to have a bottle - it's Ocean Spray "Cranberry and Mixed Berry".
Even the cranberry and raspberry or the cranberry and apple, etc., all have corn syrup.
This is the only brand and the only juice type that is cranberry juice that is sweetened with actual real food.

7. You can, some places.... |
|
But you're right, it's hideous by itself. It needs to be mixed with apple juice or lemonade to be drinkable... :scared:

11. I think you can find some that are 100% juice blend |
|
but you have to look. There are also "light" versions that don't have as much sweetener.
Hope this helps!

20. Yes, you can find 100%. |
|
It's very hard to find. I buy it at Whole Foods. It's pure 100% organic cranberry juice, it's six bucks a bottle, and it's sour as HELL.
But I drink it, because I don't like the added sugar and I don't like UTIs. I also have a really high tolerance for sour.

4. Are you also exercising? |
|
That's how a few people I know beat the test. Lots of water and/or cranberry juice, and extra exercise. I know one person who beat a test with only 24 hr. notice.
Good luck!

Just not to get the fat cells exposed too much. THC is stored in fat cells.

5. Juice? No, no, no...go back and buy whole cranberry sauce. |
|
The alleged ingredients that help you on this test are much less diluted, yet still, very tasty.
First ingredient (at least in the Ocean Spray variety)? Cran-frikkin-berries.

6. Try your organic grocery store |
|
They will probably have unsweetened fruit juices, including cranberry. I wanted cranberry juice a little while ago and Whole Foods had unsweetened cranberry. I mixed it with selzter water to cut it. Plain cranberry is awfully bitter otherwise.
Yes, Costco will take back your juices with the receipt.

10. A health food specialty store is about the only place to find that |
|
And if you've never tried it, you're in for some fun times. So bitter it's almost undrinkable.

You might try Whole Foods Market if there's one nearby, or Trader Joe's.

at health food type stores.
They're supposed to be for treating UTIs, but I imagine they'd work for your situation. And not nearly as unpleasant as plain cranberry juice.
