DOES anyone need a free glucose monitor?
The coupon combination this week with the CVS sale allows me to get the onetouch ultra and onetouch ultrasmart for free. IF anyone needs these please PM me and I will be glad to see if I can get them (store could be sold out by now...)

1. I could use one -
since you're asking. I have a diabetic kitty I've been trying to get under control w/o daily shots. It's difficult, however, because I can't monitor his blood sugar and the vet is an hour away. The "onetouch" monitor comes reccommended by others having to monitor their cat's blood sugar.

How nice of you to think about asking DU - I don't think that would have occurred to me. Says a lot about you.

Thanks.

2. Thanks yourself..
They are available at two different drugstores; so I will check stock and get back to you. I don't happen to know any diabetics--or any that have told me they are.

3. If you can get two, my husband's meter is about 8 yrs old.
I'm not sure how long they last..A new one would be nice.. But if you can only get one, kitty (above) gets it :) (since hubby has his oldie already)..

:loveya:

4. I do have two sets of coupons..
I have heard on other boards about some people getting trouble using them; though. I am going to go to the 24 hour walgreens and see how their stock is so I don't have to deal with a rush. If they are out then it is on to CVS when they open. I'll get back to you when I know.

5. Most of the companies will swap out an old meter
for a new one...free. Look up the number for your husband's meter company and give them a call. It can't hurt.
