3-Day Weekend! WooHoo! What are you doing??
Am going to Pismo Beach, part of the five beach area of the CA central coast. A friend and I have a condo for the entire weekend!! We plan on eating well, (lots of yummy fresh seafood places there), drinking, partying and shopping.

The BIG idea is to beat the winter gray day blues that are so much a part of the central CA valley in the winter. It's supposed to rain on Saturday on the coast, but WE DON'T CARE!!!

What are YOU doing this weekend????

6. Woo-woo! Watching two grandchildren Saturday to Sunday!
So their parents can get a little personal time together, which is impossible with a five and a seven-year-old running around all the time.

24. If they're older than 7, they might not fall for it.
My dad told me there were Pismo Flat Sharks and they could swim in really shallow water. I would only be safe if I didn't go out further than knee deep.

18. Are the Patriots playing this weekend? We're transplanted Bostonians.
No football team in Portland, Oregon -- we watch the Patriots if they're in the playoffs or the Super Bowl. Regis Philbin mentioned something about it today,, but I was busy with some housework.

20. Hey, I like your little dancing stars. Very cute.
Your w/e sounds great. I've been wanting to check out The Sycamores in Avila Beach. Have you heard of it? One of these days I'm gonna take the hubby down there for a romantic getaway... :loveya:

This w/e we've got a dinner party at some friends, but that's about it. Nothing too thrilling.

My hubby's planning to work on Monday, which is a drag cuz the kids have the day off. Oh well.

Hey, if you're ever in MY neck o' the woods, let me know. Feel free to PM me. I'm in the Santa Cruz mountains.

:hi: Have a blast, Whoa Nelly!

Edited on Fri Jan-13-06 01:27 PM by Orsino
My company suddenly decided to honor MLKJr Day. Kewl!

Ordinarily, I'd be working tomorrow, but I'm taking a Monday-Friday class instead this week. Monday's a regular day off, so my holiday's Tuesday. I have a dream, and it involves not coming to the office until Wednesday. Free at last!

Big ups to the Rev. I'll be thinking of him.

40. I am going to Lee's Summit MO to visit a
former co-worker. We will probably spend the weekend doing some INTENSE and I do mean INTENSE Bush and Alito bashing. Work has not been the same since Connie left. She used to come in every morning and ask, "is he still president?" and then we would talk about the news of the day. She'd read the blogs during the day and bash Bush.
