I'm finally going on vacation after six months on this horrible job. I called in sick earlier today because I had to run some last-minute errands before I leave in a couple of hours, but my boss accused me of extending my vacation by calling in sick today.

What I really wanted to say to him was, "I've worked for you assholes for six months without being able to take any vacation and no real breaks. I haven't seen my parents or been out of this fucking city in eight months, so let me take a fucking extra day, you douchebags!"

Of course, I didn't say that, but I can't wait until I leave that job in another six months. But my vacation should be fun. I'll be visiting my parents in Texas and seeing some friends in NYC, as well as finally finishing the screenplay I've been working on for three years.

So I'll be back in ten days (take that, MissHoneyChurch! -- inside joke), and I hope you guys have fun. Take it easy!
