parrot owners: Bird regurgitates...
Except he does it some what frequently; he'll take a dip of water, regurgitate, then spit out the food he's ate - along with the water.

Then he goes to get more food.

:wtf:

1. bird barfing comes in 2 forms
one is normal, one is-GET THAT BIRD TO THE VET, NOW!
if the bird is putting the food on something, or offering it to you, does an exaggerated head bobbing to bring up the food, that kind is love.
unfortunately, yours sound like the other kind. just a gripping barf, and flicking it off, is bad. is there gooey food flung around the cage? or on the birds face or body? sick barfing is a sign of a VERY sick bird.
get him to the vet asap, and in the meantime, make sure he stays warm. put a heating pad or lamp on one side of the cage and cover it with a blanket. get his favorite perch area warm. make sure the bird has a perch area that is cool, as you do not want to overheat him, either. watch for panting, raising his wings, and flattening his feathers against his body.
feel free to pm me if i can help.
