Name a TV show that least deserves a "reunion special"
You know, showing us how the characters are today, et al?

My choice is "Silver Spoons".

O.M.G.

The show is so shamelessly "trendy" with all the gaudy early-1980s styles and celebrity-hawking. (oooh, the Whitney Houston episode... :eyes: )

The little brat of the show does a lot of terrible things throughout its run (the "dine'n'ditch" gag being one of the more memorable ones). Does he ever get punished? Nope. Only a lame, cozy speech that wouldn't do anybody any good in real life. It's not even a stern talking-to.

OTOH, in real life, the brat would be in the gutter. But if the show itself was an obvious phony, the reunion special would be too.

Unless I'm being too harsh, of course...

1. I dunno, I don't think a
Diff'rent Strokes reunion would work too well either.

He's gone completely over the edge. It's very scary. I can't stop watching though. It's like a train wreck.

20. Great minds think alike.
I watched the first season on DVD this last weekend.

I can not wait for the other seasons to come out.

I think a reunion show would be great.

21. Julie London died a few years ago
But both main characters Roy and Gage are still alive and kicking.

I'd love to watch the DVD - I haven't seen that show in years. :)

26. Only Bobby Troup and Julie London are gone.
They were married to each other. Julie suffered a stroke in 1995 and Bobby died in 1999, Julie followed him in October of 2000.

Dr. Brackett is still kicking and most of the firemen are. Even Captain Stanley is alive.

I think it would be AWESOME!!

24. they have had live, in-person reunions...

Trivia: Did you know the late Bobby Troup (aka Dr. Joe Early) wrote the song "Route 66"?

By the way, I've worked with Kevin Tighe and Randy Mantooth on occasion; they are the nicest guys. You can't imagine how happy I was to learn that my childhood heroes weren't "Hollywood Handfulls".
