I just got a call from the guy who runs the bar I DJ at.
Apparently they have no one to bartend or barback this upcoming Thursday.
He wants *me* to do it.
1) I am not technically 'staff'
2) Thursday is the busiest night of the week. With 2 bartenders and 2 barbacks they still get slammed.
3) I am not a bartender.
Oh HELLS no. Tending and backing a packed bar full of rowdy drunks after getting up at 7 and working all day, till 4am, alone, in that place, with no help, not even a bouncer? He's gotta be on the drugs.

If it was a beer-bar I'd do it, and I don't know shit about mixing drinks. Which is why I put that beer-bar caveat in :]

go into storage and get more supplies for the bar, like ice or more beer. Basically you are carrying a bunch of stuff around all night. While both jobs would suck on a busy night, the bartender is the way to go IMHO

Like, busing tables, cleaning up, getting beer, etc.
So, yeah, imagine having to bus tables, clean, serve drinks, and get supplies all night. Alone. In a *PACKED* bar. Without really knowing wtf you're doing.
