Ohhh, drool and confusion!
There's a REALLY pretty item on Ebay (with the "buy it now" option) and I want it badly! It's new, with tags, and shipping is only about five dollars. I don't understand how it could be so cheap, though! I would EASILY have to pay 30 to 40 dollars at a department store for one like it. The seller has good feedback. The price just doesn't make sense to me. Should I buy it? Am I missing something that would explain why it's SO inexpensive? The seller has alot of other similar items, and they're also insanely cheap. I'm somewhat inexperienced with Ebay, so any wisdom anyone could offer would be appreciated!

1. Could bes...
Might be overstock bought cheap.

Might be direct from manufacturer, drop-shipped from country of origin.

Could be hot, but if seller has good feedback and a lot of it, I doubt it.

If shipping is domestic and it's 5 bux, it's probably USPS Parcel Post. I use that and first class a lot. Good, cheap and reliable. Also, it sounds like there is no handling charge. Nice!

If FB is good, I would buy.

3. Thank you!
That's what I was hoping to hear, but caveat emptor; I didn't want to miss something stupid and make a mistake by ordering it!

7. If it's clothing, it might be an "irregular".
Y'know, some slight imperfection. Sometimes it's worth asking the seller. I see close-outs of autoparts often on Ebay for low prices. I guess they make it up on volume.

14. Doubt it.

I've been with the Ms. for over 20 years.

You would have my complete confidence, but it's cool. Sounds OK. Check the return policy.

16. Very nice!
I see the confusion, that's a nice set.

Feedback looks good. Only the one neg. I'm guessing they buy this in bulk, and pay by the ton or something. Also, it's gonna be light, and I'll bet it comes Priority mail, so it can be shipped for $3.85.

Go for it!

Send pix!

I'm something of a collector, so I KNOW that one's nice, and it's ridiculously cheap. Woo-Hoo! In plenty of time for Valentine's Day, too! Perfect!

18. Ya got me all excited about Ebay...
So I bought a CD I've been wanting for a while:

"This auction is for a still sealed Kyuss Welcome To Sky Valley CD"

It was only $4.95 and $2.95 for shipping. Woohoo!

:hi:

12. Ew. No. I wouldn't buy it if it had been worn; it's not the type of item
you'd want as a hand-me-down. It's "new, with tags."
