2. I think you're right!

We do need to get the country western liberals to start speaking out and admitting they are liberal. And need to stop bashing the country western as all being rednecked fuckwits who throw beer at passing cars from their front porch while a'hootin' and a'hollerin', when it's well known that only about half or perhaps a bit more of the country western demographic doesn't have their teeth and thinks 8th grade is graduate school.

7. I think the Dixie Ckicks controversy proved

not all C&W fans are redneck fuckwits. While some people were smashing their CDs and causing a stink.... their concerts were still selling out. So the liberal country fans are out there. But they don't get as much publicity or fit the sterotype....
And when they speak out they are percieved as libruls not country fans.

As for admitting the are liberal - Willie Nelson did concerts to support the Dems. If he can't get them to speak or for people to realize not all C&W is right wing, I don't know who can.
