Haven't heard him play in years. Has he been in CA recently? (I'm at the other end of the state from you, but I've noticed that East Coast musicians love their winter tours out here for some reason.
;-) )

You ahn't oldah than dirt yet, but you ah gettin' close.

2. David Bromberg is quite unique- and great live show- always!
A friend of ours designed the album cover with David on the Empire State Bldg like King Kong.

5. I saw him with Jerry Jeff Walker in 1970.
Then again at the Paradise in Boston around 1975.
What a musician. Plays guitar, banjo, fiddle, piano...Blues, Jazz, Rock, Folk, Country, Bluegrass.
A great but underrated talent.

6. I saw him in 1976? in San Luis Obispo
He was the opening act for Jesse Colin Young- who seemed awfully tame after the Bromberg set. Saw him again in NJ a few years later. Another excellent show.

7. He's tall!
Great musician. And he's playing a show with Jorma! I'll probably miss that, but maybe I can see him in Boston. Thanks for the link.

Bill
