18. A good time was had by all.

There were a couple of times I thought I was gonna have to pry Mopinko's claws out of Wndycity, but we were in a place where a little volume didn't seem to upset anyone. Everyone parted in a most congenial fashion, in spite of the intense discussions, so I'd say it was a raving success.

That cake was beyond excellent--one of the best I've eaten in a long time. The beer was quite good--I am in love with the Brown Ale, now--and the company was even better. I am totally smitten with several of the Chicago DUers now (and yes--TerryA is one of the sweetest men on the planet, I think.)

I'm the one in the green shirt in case anyone is wondering. Kevsand is the guy in the burgundy shirt.

I had a really great time and I am just blown away by the DUers there in Chicago. I want to do it again!!!!
