I just poured my heart out into a thread posting... and it didn't post

I was having a pretty emotional reaction to several things going on in the world, and I got a message error from DU. "Can't post - please report this bug to the moderators"

Screw it. Emotions are for sissies anyway.

I had the same prob in GD, I got the error msg after posting, but it did actually make it in to the thread.

If I'm going to post something long and involved, I type it in a text file first. Then I copy it to the message box. That way if I get the hiccough, I don't lose my note.

did not bring your epistle back either.
That may be a draw-back to dial-up. My system seems to save mine now.
Also, I'm pretty sure that anger is an emotion too.

6. Try your 'back' button a few times.

If you can return to the page that didn't post perhaps you can open another window then drag and drop the entire post.
