Poll question: Absolutism
As in, to believe everything you think is absolute. All opinions are absolute.
1. Perfect in quality or nature; complete.
2. Not mixed; pure. See Synonyms at pure.
3.
1. Not limited by restrictions or exceptions; unconditional: absolute trust.
2. Unqualified in extent or degree; total: absolute silence. See Usage Note at infinite.

3. Nothing in this material world is pure or infinite
everything is a mixture, and everything is finite. My mind is a product and part of the material creation, so my thoughts cannot be pure, infinite or absolute either.

This is not to say there is no infinite absolute, just that I cannot touch it as I am.

4. When I was much younger
I thought that opinions or beliefs that weren't absolute were weak. As if I was too unsure of myself to be decided. Now that I'm older, I look back at that and laugh. I have very VERY strong opinions and beliefs, however even very simplistically, those can change based purely on circumstance. Sure, I believe that women should have the right to an abortion. Now, if it was abortion without any restraints or limitations? That would change. And even things I think I'll never change on, well, you never know.
I think opinions and ideas have MORE force when they're a little more open, less cut and dried. I think it shows true thoughtfulness and contemplation of an idea, rather than putting on a garment of radicalness/conservatism/pro choice/etc.

:hi: :) :)

But most of all, I watch TV.

“Nothing is true. Everything is Permissible”

The all of it: my sweet.
In and around what remain.
This that: & more.
Here at the flat world's edge it is as well true that
Stalin's Organ is a cluster:
Of Katyusha: missile/rocket launchers.
Favorite of rag tag militias throughout
While so near to the former 'stan lands' of Russia.
Short. Sweet.
And very to the: point.
Or is it the head. Pumped &: Purple-Ish.
The seminal C4 flows of a Milk Maid's Cum.
Weaving the tapestry. Smashing these pretty tiles.
Into tinsy pieces that we will lay into the Moorish tabletops
Of our living rooms: to come. There we will chop our lines,
Roll our dope & dream about forever.
If indeed forever ever comes.
