"Arrrrgghhh!! I *hate* my student loan debt!!"--a brief rant |
|
Just got back from the mail box and got a terse little denial of my income sensitive repayment application. How can I prove to these people that I only get paid by the school system ONCE a MONTH? They want "one full month's wage verification documentation." I sent them a copy of my pay stub and they denied my request. Of course they're closed on Saturday.

once a month matters as much as the amout of pay. It is income sensitive, not time sensitive.

"your $325 paystub does not qualify you for this option"?

2. Send a letter from the school system? Or a couple of month's pay stubs. |

It sucks, but sometimes you have to overdue documentation for the government. or banks.
You could also try consolidating your loan to get a lower payment, but you'd still have to deal with bank or the government. If you're going through the government, I believe you can do most of the process online.
