**I Think I've Reserved the Right to Officially Surrender to the Broncs** |
|
Okay, this hurts. It's bad. Really bad. Like having something ripped out of me. But you Bronc fans, you did it. Your team just kicked my team's ass. Sure, there was that messy interception call in the 2nd quarter--which REALLY stung--but you guys still did it. You gave us vain New Englanders our collective ass on a platter.
We had a great run, we Pats did. It's been a sweet couple of years in this region of the country. But it's time to give up the crown. Brady's got enough Super Bowl rings on his fingers, and he's still young. You Broncs, or the Bears, or some other team, deserve this year's 'Bowl. This year just wasn't a Patriot year.
So congratulations, Denver fans. You guys really deserve this win--I don't begrudge you it. Let us go out with some pride, and you can come in with all the pride and joy you deserve.
Good luck next week against the Steelers/Colts. Those teams, too, could deal with a little kicking-around, in my opinion. ;) You guys are a great team to do it.
Congratulations again, my dears. Take this "dynasty" crown from our head and find a way to put it on your own.

1. Great defensive battle |
|
Only reason the score for Denver is so high is because of the starting field position and turnovers. Great game, and I'm glad that the Broncos came out with the win. :)

My team sucked its way out of contention! (The Chargers)
But then again, we did kick some Patriot ass IN Foxboro earlier this season, so I am happy about that. :D

And I am glad, for what we did this year. It just wasn't our year, Zomby. Just not our year.

It was a hard fought game and both teams can be proud, I think. :toast:

Indy will get their ass collectively handed in a platter (If I may steal that quote, WISMR) by the Steelers or the Broncos. We'll be ready!

8. Poor Havocdad; his two favorite teams head to head. |

Being a westerner by choice, he loves the Broncs, but he is mighty sad all the sudden this evening. Guess you can take the boy outta New England, but you can't take the New England outta the boy.
Me, I'm just happy when Jake the Snake gets through the day still standing ;)
