Friend's Artwork (dial up warning)
I went to my friend's art show yesterday and I just wanted to share some of his stuff with you. His name is Mike Pucciarelli.

1. Very, very cool.
He uses exactly the same method I use for oil portraiture, and I would never have dreamed that grissaile would work with acrylics. Excellent, informed technique, Mr. Pucciarelli.

(Thanks for sharing, RandiFan1290, and belated welcome to DU! :pals:)

4. Yep, it mentions him in his bio
http://www.poochisland.com/amazing_pooch.htm

"His earliest influences were artists like MC Escher, Dali, and HR Giger. Holding the old masters in high regard, Pooch has a strong respect for painters of the Flemish age such as Bosch and Van Eyk--plus modern artists like Todd Schorr, Joe Coleman, Mark Ryden, and Robert Williams, all of whom honor the tradition of highly detailed symbolic works"
