47. I think it just got to be too much after a while.

6 wins in a row was pretty big, and some of those were against stiff competition.

Brunell was hampered, Portis was sore. The Seahawks had a week off. Skins had a chance to win, but the offense was struggling.

I was expecting probably a 9-7 season. When they were 5-6, I was hoping they would just break even. These guys had to fight like hell to end up 11-7.

Next year should be interesting.

I hate the offseason, though! Too long.

Clinton's mom was funny. She got stuff thrown on her and a beer poured on her and she fought back. She should be the Chunky soup mom next year.

That the receiver caught the ball, but he hit the ground and rolled over all in the same continuous move (momentum carried him, in other words). In order to show possession, he has to make a football move or come to a stop, and since he rolled over and tried to get up in the same motion (again, momentum, part of the continuous move) he lost the ball before he made a "football move" on his own.

Like I said, it's over-technical BS. He clearly had the ball, he clearly hit the ground with control. If they had touched him down or he would have stayed down, it would have been an interception, but since the ball came out before he could get his knee off the ground (thus creating a separate move, a football move), it was incomplete.

They have to get rid of that "football move" clause. A receiver or defender can hold the ball for five seconds and travel ten yards, and still have it be an incomplete move.
