Josie And The Pussycats - UNDERRATED MOVIE!
It's on WB right now...I LOVE this flick.

If you haven't seen it yet, rent it. It's well worth it.

1. Haven't seen it, but if the fact that it bombed has hurt Tara Reid's
career, then it was worth it putting it into the theaters!

2. awww poor Tara Reid
poor little twinkie never hurt no one :(

All she wanted to do is use poor Carson Daly up until she needed another stepping stone....

3. She's actually good in it...
..she plays Melody, the dim-witted drummer. She does a good job.

My favorite line in the movie is hers...."If I could go back in time, I'd want to meet Snoopy."

5. Yes, I do....
...and the cartoon was awful. Great for me when I was 8, but now it just looks like revamped Scooby Doo with guitars.

Yes, rent it. You have my guarantee that it'll make you laugh. They do an excellent job of making fun of the record industry. Hell, the opening scene has a boy-band named "DuJour" doing a song called "Backdoor Lover". The whole movie is worth seeing that scene.

6. Saw it in theaters
I liked it. I thought it was rather unrealistic, but was it suppose to be? It seemed like a satire of pop music to me. I liked the music though and bought the sound track.

7. LOVE the soundtrack
...the actresses actually went through a training camp and played their own music (but Kay Hanley of Letters To Cleo did the vocals)

8. agreed with all
except I think Tara played Josie.

I was think that the record industry really missed out in not promoting this movie to the younger set, as my daughter and all of her friends (pre-teen age group)love the music, they run around singing "3 small words" all the time. What a missed opportunity for industry to introduce real (albeit fake)music vrs. boy bands and pop tartlets like brittney and christine.
